Ezra Martin-Rosenthal is an LA-based drummer, producer, and educator, specializing in funk, rock, and hip-hop. With a keen ear and intense dedication to not only supporting, but elevating other artists, Ezra inspires fellow musicians to give their best performances, enhancing their music with his steady, funky groove. He is a founding member of the Mary Orji Visionaries Collective, with whom he’s recorded two albums: Conception (2022), and Perception (to be released November 26th).
As a producer, Ezra specializes in taking a basic melody, layering in genre-bending tracks and sample-based beats, and creating a professional quality piece with texture and musical interest well beyond the original tune.
An Instructor at School of Rock West LA, Ezra offers private drum lessons and coaches ensembles.
Ezra is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, where he studied Electronic Production and Design and did a whole lot of drumming.
